Before We Start — Required Documents

Before we enter the property or begin any service, the property owner or authorized representative is required to review and acknowledge the following documents. These documents define the scope of work, limitations, responsibilities, and conditions of service.

Important: Work cannot begin until all required acknowledgments are completed and submitted by the property owner or authorized representative.

1. Client Information

Name, property address, phone number, email, and date will be collected before the documents are acknowledged.

2. Required Documents

The client will review the service agreement, scope limitations, moisture disclosure, guarantee terms, and related conditions.

3. Electronic Acknowledgment

The client will check required boxes, confirm they understand the documents, and provide an electronic signature before service begins.

Documents Requiring Review

The following documents must be reviewed before service begins. These summaries are placeholders for the full legal/service language we will finalize next.

1. Service Agreement

This agreement outlines the general nature of the services being provided by StressFree Mold Removal. The client acknowledges that all work is limited to the areas, conditions, and services specifically agreed to in writing.

The client understands that environmental conditions can change over time and that future mold growth, moisture intrusion, humidity issues, leaks, or hidden conditions are not controlled by StressFree Mold Removal unless specifically included in the written scope of work.

By proceeding, the client confirms they understand the nature of the service, the limits of the work, and their responsibility to provide accurate property information before service begins.

2. Scope Limitation Disclosure

Scope of Service: This service is limited strictly to visible and readily accessible areas at the time of service. No demolition, disassembly, invasive inspection, or structural work is included unless specifically authorized in writing.

Non-Invasive Service: This is a surface-level environmental cleaning and treatment only. This service does not address hidden, embedded, or structural contamination.

Not Mold Remediation: This service does NOT constitute mold remediation, mold abatement, or environmental restoration as defined by any federal, state, or industry standard.

No Testing or Verification: No environmental testing, clearance testing, or post-service verification is included. Any verification must be performed by an independent third party at the client’s discretion.

Hidden Conditions: StressFree Mold Removal is not responsible for any hidden, latent, or inaccessible conditions, including but not limited to those within walls, ceilings, subfloors, insulation, or HVAC systems.

Moisture Not Addressed: This service does not include identifying or correcting moisture sources such as leaks, humidity, condensation, or ventilation issues. Failure to correct these conditions will result in recurrence.

No Guarantees: No guarantee is made regarding complete contaminant removal, environmental safety, air quality, habitability, or health outcomes of any kind.

Client Responsibility: The client acknowledges they are not relying on this service as a complete or permanent solution and understand that additional evaluation or corrective action may be required.

3. Moisture & Environmental Condition Disclosure

Primary Cause Acknowledgment: The client understands that mold and microbial conditions are typically caused by moisture, humidity, leaks, condensation, ventilation issues, or water intrusion.

No Moisture Diagnosis: StressFree Mold Removal is not performing a moisture inspection, leak detection, or environmental diagnosis unless specifically stated in writing.

No Correction of Source: This service does not include identifying, repairing, or correcting any underlying moisture or environmental condition.

Recurrence Risk: The client acknowledges that failure to identify and correct moisture conditions will result in the return of mold, staining, or microbial growth.

No Responsibility for Return: StressFree Mold Removal assumes no responsibility for the reappearance of conditions after service, regardless of location, severity, or timeframe.

Ongoing Responsibility: The client is solely responsible for maintaining proper environmental conditions, including moisture control, ventilation, and property maintenance.

Excluded Conditions: The guarantee does not apply to new moisture intrusion, plumbing issues, roof leaks, condensation, flooding, hidden contamination, or any untreated or inaccessible areas.

Maintenance Responsibility: The client is responsible for maintaining proper environmental conditions, including moisture control and ventilation, in order for any guarantee to remain valid.
