Why Training Standards Matter

Mold work should not rely on fear, vague promises, or inconsistent explanations. A standard creates a repeatable way to educate people, evaluate conditions, explain scope, document work, and verify completion.

Clear Language

Training must explain mold, moisture, treatment, prevention, and documentation in language people can actually understand.

STANDARD 02

No Fear-Based Claims

Education should reduce confusion, not create panic. Claims must be practical, honest, and tied to visible conditions.

STANDARD 03

Documented Process

Training must reinforce the importance of scope, photos, SDS access, completion records, and verification.

The Core Training Framework

Each StressFree Academy™ training path is structured around practical decision-making, not memorized talking points.

Module 01 — Mold Fundamentals What mold is, why it grows, how moisture drives conditions, and why visible growth should be evaluated without panic.
Module 02 — Moisture Awareness How humidity, leaks, ventilation, condensation, and building conditions influence mold risk and recurrence.
Module 03 — Inspection Thinking How to observe conditions, ask better questions, identify affected areas, and avoid jumping to conclusions.
Module 04 — Treatment Standards How treatment decisions are explained, when non-invasive surface treatment may be appropriate, and when additional scope may be required.
Module 05 — HEPA, Containment & Work Practices How air movement, filtration, controlled work areas, cleanup, and responsible work practices support a cleaner process.
Module 06 — Products, SDS & Safety Communication Why product transparency matters, how SDS access supports trust, and why customers should know what enters their home.
Module 07 — Documentation & Verification How project photos, completion records, certificates, warranty terms, and verification portals support confidence after the work is done.
Module 08 — Prevention & Long-Term Control How humidity, ventilation, storage, seasonal maintenance, and source correction reduce the chance of conditions returning.

What Completion Means

StressFree Academy™ certificates are intended to show completion of a StressFree-created educational program. They are not a state license, government credential, medical qualification, engineering designation, or industrial hygiene certification.

Training Finished

The participant completed the assigned training material and any required assessment.

VERIFICATION

Certificate Record

Future certificates may include a unique ID that can be verified through a public verification portal.

LIMITS

Clear Boundaries

Training completion does not authorize someone to make medical, legal, insurance, engineering, or regulatory claims.

The Standard We Want People To Feel

A trained person should not sound scripted. They should be calm, clear, practical, and documentation-minded. The goal is not to overwhelm people with terminology. The goal is to help them understand what matters, what does not, and what the next right step should be.

Explain before recommending. People should understand the condition before they are asked to approve a scope of work.
Document before declaring complete. A completed project should leave behind records, not uncertainty.
Educate without alarming. Mold can be serious without being sensationalized.
Stay inside the scope. Responsible training includes knowing what not to claim.
